About the pie shop

The Royers Pie Haven was Tara, the Pie Queen's dream. One day, she met with some property owners at a Round Top Area Chamber of Commerce meeting and was able to start her pie shop. Tara opened her shop in 2011, right before Antique Week in Texas. Now her dream is fulfilled, and she can make pies to "pour out her creativity." She sees her pie shop as a sanctuary for her fellow Texans.

Excellent desserts! The Expresso Brownie is decadent! The shop has a lot of cute and inspiring items. If you need a pick me up...use the restroom! It’s full of inspirational stickies! LOVE THAT!

Very nice little place. Cute and quaint. Friendly staff. They have a good selection of tasty pies. The apple pie was delicious, not too sweet or overpowering with the sugar. The coffee is very good and well made. Beautiful place to sit outside with a great area and nice view. Hands down beats out any Starbucks. Nice little place for a coffee and snack.

Any time I am in the area I try to stop in and buy a pie. My favorite is the Junkberry pie and I almost never buy just a slice. Great pie and great atmosphere.
